Case Description
In Severodonetsk, the occupied part of the Luhansk region, local resident Denis Postnikov, a 42-year-old Ukrainian citizen, was detained no later than June 2022. He was accused of complicity in the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, attempted murder of two or more persons committed by a group of persons in a generally dangerous manner, intentional destruction of other people's property, as well as illegal acquisition and storage of ammunition. According to the Russian investigation, in April 2022 Postnikov received a monetary reward of 15 thousand. rubles, he passed the coordinates of the sports arena 'Ice Palace' and the hotel 'Mir' in Severodonetsk to a Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman. As a result, from April to May 2022, these objects were subjected to artillery shelling and were destroyed. During the detention at the place of residence of Postnikov, illegally acquired ammunition was discovered. The defendant in the case was placed in the SIZO. On October 15, 2024, the Supreme Court of the Lugansk People's Republic found Denis Postnikov guilty and sentenced him to 23 years in a strict regime penal colony."
