Case Description
In the city of Krymsk, Krasnodar Krai, no later than May 2024, 44-year-old local resident Denis Popov was detained. He was accused of treason, participation in and financing of an extremist community, participation in the activities of a terrorist organization, and financing of terrorist activities. The charge of financing extremism is related to donations to FBK. Details of the terrorism charges are unknown. The man was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
