В Томске не позднее апреля 2024 года (точная дата неизвестна) возбудили уголовное дело об оправдании терроризма против 38-летнего местного жителя Дениса Орлова. По версии следствия, мужчина под анонимным акаунтом в Telegram оставил одобрительный комментарий о подрыве российского военкора Владлена Татарского, совершённом 2 апреля 2023 года Дарьей Треповой в кафе на Университетской набережной в Санкт-Петербурге.
Об избрании меры пресечения неизвестно.
16 сентября 2024 года 2-й Восточный окружной военный суд признал Дениса Орлова виновным и назначил ему наказание в виде штрафа 500 тыс. рублей и запретом пользоваться интернетом на 1 год. Приговор не был обжалован и вступил в законную силу.
