В Самаре не позднее мая 2025 года задержали 34-летнего местного жителя Дениса Коваля. Его обвинили в государственной измене и в участии в деятельности террористической организации. Подробности обвинения неизвестны. На время следствия фигуранта дела поместили под стражу.
27 августа 2028 года Центральный окружной военный суд признал Дениса Коваля виновным и приговорил его к лишению свободы в колонии строгого режима, размер наказания неизвестен.
