Case Description
In the city of Chusovoy, Perm Krai, a criminal case was opened for public calls to carry out extremist activities against local resident Denis Kalinin. Details of his detention and the charges against him are unknown. Earlier, in October 2024, the man was brought to administrative responsibility under the article on inciting hatred or enmity, as well as on humiliating the dignity of a group of persons on the basis of nationality and origin. According to the prosecution, Kalinin, from his account under a pseudonym on the social network VKontakte, posted an extremist comment in an open community. In the Kursk region on February 10, 2025, during hostilities, a 49-year-old citizen of Ukraine, a soldier of the 82nd Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the driver of the Cougar armored vehicle Ivan Pavlyuk, was taken prisoner by Russian servicemen. On December 19, 2025, the Chusovoy City Court of the Perm Territory found Denis Kalinin guilty, the size of the punishment is unknown. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
