On January 11, 2024, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Garrison Military Court found Denis Aglichev guilty and sentenced him to 2 years and 9 months in a general regime colony. According to the investigation, Aglichev, with the aim of being discharged from military service and fully released from the duties of military service, between March and May 2023 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, purchased from unidentified persons knowingly fake official documents - a certificate and a medical-social expert assessment conclusion establishing his mother's disability and the need for her constant care due to her health condition. On May 10, 2023, that is, during the mobilization period, the serviceman submitted a report to the commander of the military unit for discharge from military service due to family circumstances, to which he attached the aforementioned knowingly forged documents. On April 3, 2024, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Garrison Military Court found Denis Aglichev guilty and sentenced him to 4 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony. Taking into account that in January 2024, Aglichev had already been sentenced by the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Garrison Military Court for refusing to participate in combat operations, the court imposed a final sentence of imprisonment for a term of 6 years to be served in a general regime correctional colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
