Case Description
In Vladivostok in September 2023, a 17-year-old local resident, Bogdan Davydenko, was detained. Teenager accused of preparing to commit a terrorist act and undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities. According to law enforcement, the young man planned to set fire to the building of the military commissariat of the Primorsky Krai on Davydova Street in Vladivostok. He allegedly cited his disagreement with the SVO as the motive for his actions and stated that he wanted to express his protest by setting fire to the military enlistment office." Nevertheless, Bogdan Davydenko insisted that he had not undergone any training. It is claimed that to prepare for the arson, the resident of Primorye went to Davydova Street, but confused the address and photographed not the military enlistment office building, but the neighboring one. September 11, 2023, the Soviet District Court of Vladivostok arrested Davydenko at the request of the investigation. 25 October 2024, the Pacific Fleet Military Court found Bogdan Davydenko guilty and sentenced him to 5.5 years in a general regime colony. On January 9, 2025, the Appellate Military Court upheld the verdict.
