Case Description
In annexed Crimea, no later than May 2024, a criminal case was opened against five local residents - Nadir Adzharypov, Alexander Glazunov, Yakub Kaliev, Akim Kurtaliyev, and Bakhtiyar Melgeriev. They were accused of high treason, organizing a terrorist community, and preparing to commit a terrorist act by an organized group. Adzhapova, Glazunova, Kurtalieva, Kaliyeva, and Melgertiyev were also accused of illegal trafficking of explosive devices by an organized group. In addition, Kaliev and Melgiriev were charged with illegal arms trafficking. The date of detention and details of the charges are unknown.
