Case Description
In the Ryazan region in July 2025, a 23-year-old local resident, native of Moldova, Artem Zhaluk, was detained. He was accused of treason. According to the investigation, Zhalyuk established contact through Telegram with a representative of Ukrainian military intelligence and transmitted information about Russian military facilities in the Ryazan region. In exchange, they promised to help him leave for France and join a Ukrainian armed formation. For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
