Case Description
In Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai, no later than February 2025, a criminal case was initiated against Artem Primak, a 44-year-old employee of the municipal archive of the Nikolayevsky District administration, on charges of calling for extremism. The details of the charges are unknown. Online posts published in 2023 calling for the killing of Russians participating in the special military operation could have been the reason for criminal prosecution. On February 5, 2025, Artem Primak was added to the Rosfinmonitoring list as being involved in extremism, and on February 6, 2025, the Telegram channel Amur Mash published a video of Primak's apology in connection with the criminal prosecution. The chosen measure of restraint is unknown, but it is not related to imprisonment. On February 14, 2025, Artem Primak died after falling from the ninth floor of a building. The circumstances of his death are unknown.
