Case Description
On November 22, 2023, in the city of Klintsy, Bryansk region, a search was conducted at the home of 52-year-old local resident Arthur Yun-Ku-Po. They allegedly found an explosive device, cartridges, and a homemade pistol at his home. On the same day, the man was detained and two protocols on an administrative offense were drawn up against him under articles on failure to comply with a lawful demand of a police officer and petty hooliganism associated with disobedience to a representative of authority. According to the protocol, Yun-Ku-Po resisted the police and swore profanely during the search. 23 November 2023, Judge Tamara Bozhenova of Klintsy City Court of Bryansk Region sentenced Yun-Ku-Po to 8 days of administrative arrest. The court dismissed the case of petty hooliganism. After serving his sentence, on December 3, 2023, Yun-Ku-Po was charged with illegal acquisition and storage of weapons and explosives. On December 5, 2023, the Klintsy City Court of the Bryansk Region chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention. Later, the man was released on his own recognizance not to leave. On September 11, 2024, the Klintsy City Court of the Bryansk Region found Artur Yun-Ku-Po guilty and sentenced him to 4 years in a general regime penal colony and a fine of 20 thousand." rubles. He was taken into custody in the courtroom. After that, a second criminal case was opened against Arthur Yun-Ku-Po - for treason. The date of the criminal case initiation is unknown. According to the investigation, Yun-Ku-Po was opposed to the war and from March 2022 to August 2023, he transmitted information to Ukraine about the locations and movement routes of units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. On February 6, 2025, the Bryansk Regional Court found Arthur Yun-Ku-Po guilty and, by combining the crimes, imposed a final sentence of 17 years in a strict regime with a 1.5-year restriction of freedom and a fine of 20 thousand. rubles.
