Sagiev Artur Raisovich

On July 31, 2025, 38-year-old local resident Artur Sagiyev was detained in Kazan. He was accused of calling for terrorism. The reason for the criminal prosecution were comments in pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels, in which, according to the investigation, the man spoke approvingly of the AFU attacks on Russian territory.

According to the version of law enforcers, in the period from August to October 2024, Sagiev, "in order to publicly influence the consciousness and will of people, bringing to users the ideology and practice of terrorism correct, in need of support and imitation, addressing a wide range of people, deliberately posted text messages, which according to the conclusion of psychological and linguistic expertise contain a set of linguistic and psychological signs of justification of destructive actions". He was charged with 6 episodes of calls to terrorism.

It is also alleged that Sagiev is "a supporter of the extremist LGBT movement and radical opposition", and during the search in his apartment they found "LGBT symbols".

Earlier, in October 2024, the Vakhitovsky district court twice fined the man under protocols for discrediting the Russian army. One court ruling said that Sagiyev, in a comment on Telegram, "expressed joy that the Russian Armed Forces do not have functioning electronic suppression techniques." In the second, that he wished the Ukrainian army in an open Telegram chat Premium Nevzorov Chat to improve their weaponry to defeat Russia.

In November 2024, the Privolzhsky District Court of Kazan arrested Sagiyev for 15 days under an article on incitement to hatred. The protocol stated that he had left comments "degrading human dignity against Russians on the basis of nationality." In particular, to the news about the drone attack on the primary oil processing unit at the Kapotnya refinery he wrote: "Now Russians will not have primary processing, only secondary and tertiary! Goyda!".

On August 1, 2025, the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan elected a measure of restraint in the form of imprisonment at the request of the investigation.
