Tikhonova Arina Nikolaevna

In Novodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Oblast, at the beginning of February 2025, two schoolgirls were detained - 16-year-old schoolgirl Arina Tikhonova and her 13-year-old friend, whose name is not disclosed. They were accused of sabotage committed by a group of persons at an object of the fuel and energy complex. According to the investigation, in January 2025, Tikhonova agreed via messenger with an unidentified person to set fire to an electrical substation for 100 thousand rubles. On the night of February 2, 2025, she and her friend broke into the substation territory in Arkhangelsk, where they doused equipment with flammable liquid and set it on fire, filming the incident on their phone. The damage to the facility was minimal. Later, when new assignments were demanded from her, the schoolgirl herself turned to the police. There is no information about the measure of restraint in relation to the case participants. On July 16, 2025, the Arkhangelsk Regional Court found Arina Tikhonova guilty and sentenced her to 6 years of imprisonment in a juvenile colony. On September 23, 2025, the Second Appellate Court of General Jurisdiction changed the verdict. Details are unknown. Tikhonova's accomplice, the 13-year-old schoolgirl, was not tried due to not reaching the age of criminal responsibility. On July 2, 2025, the Novodvinsk City Court of Arkhangelsk Oblast ordered her to be sent to a special closed educational and correctional institution for 3 years.
