Case Description
In Moscow in September 2024, a criminal case was opened against local resident Anton Grishin for financing an extremist organization. According to the investigation, on the morning of August 5, 2021, after the announcement of a fundraising campaign, Grishin allegedly set up a monthly subscription from his card for the amount of 500 rubles. In total, there were seven write-offs totaling 3,500 rubles, until the disconnection of international payment system services. The court placed the defendant under house arrest. 13 February 2025, the Gagarin District Court of Moscow found Anton Grishin guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 350 thousand. rubles. The phone confiscated during the search was forfeited to the state, and the badge with the letter 'H' was ordered to be destroyed. On June 17, 2025, the Moscow City Court toughened the sentence and sentenced Grishina to imprisonment in a general regime colony for 3.5 years. The man was taken into custody in the courtroom.
