Case Description
In October 2022, 41-year-old Belgorod native Anton Galeta was detained in the Perm Territory. He was accused of preparing for state treason and a terrorist act, as well as justifying terrorism. According to law enforcement officials, Galeyta 'collaborated with representatives of the Ukrainian armed forces' in September-October 2022 and 'prepared sabotage and terrorist acts on industrial and law enforcement facilities in the city of Perm.'" 14 October 2022, the Leninsky District Court of Perm sent a man to a pre-trial detention center. According to Galey himself, he was tortured during his detention. Upon admission to Perm Detention Center No. 1, there is a description of injuries: bruised buttocks, bruises on arms, etc., but not all. There is no description of traces of burns from a taser, a torn ear canal of the left ear from drowning. On March 22, 2024, the Central Military District Court found Anton Galet guilty and sentenced him to 12 years in a strict regime colony. The court also deprived Galey of the right to engage in website and channel administration on the Internet for three years. December 2, 2024, the Appellate Military Court upheld the sentence.
