Case Description
In New Moscow on October 23, 2024, a search was conducted at the home of 36-year-old local resident Anton Yevdokimov. Shortly after seven in the morning, security forces broke down the front door, laid the man and his brother face down on the floor, and handcuffed both of them. The search involved 4-5 SOBR fighters and two operatives. During the search, computer equipment, routers, and mobile phones were taken from the apartment, after which both men were taken to the Moskovsky police department for questioning. Anton Yevdokimov was charged with a criminal case for justifying terrorism. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a post on social networks about the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. Details are unknown. Before the election of a preventive measure, Yevdokimov was placed in a temporary detention center, and his brother was released as a witness." "24 October 2024, the Shcherbinsky District Court of Moscow granted the prosecution's motion and sent a Moscow resident to a remand prison. In July 2025, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Anton Yevdokimov guilty and sentenced him to 1.5 years in prison. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
