Case Description
At the beginning of 2024, in the occupied Kakhovka of the Kherson region of Ukraine, local resident Andrey Tozarev was detained. A criminal case was opened against him for participating in the activities of an extremist organization. The reason was that in 2014, Tozarev was a member of the 'Right Sector' and allegedly underwent training for potential participation in a war against Russia. The security forces also accused him of traveling to rallies in the cities of the Kherson region from 2014 to 2021 and calling on participants to join the "Right Sector, as well as helping to organize a land blockade of annexed Crimea.
