Sidelnikov Andrey Aleksandrovich

In Moscow, at the end of May 2024, a criminal case was opened for calls to terrorism against politician Andrei Sidelnikov. The reason for the criminal prosecution was the politician's speech in November 2023 at the "Congress of People's Deputies" of Ilya Ponomarev - Sidelnikov then called for collecting money for drones to attack polling stations on election day in Putin's elections in March 2024. In Sidelnokov's opinion, the drone attack should be organized an hour before the polling stations open so that people are afraid to come to them. Sidelnikov left Russia in 2007 and now lives in London. He was put on the wanted list. 31 May 2024, the Zamoskvoretsky District Court issued an in absentia arrest warrant for Sidelnikova. On November 28, 2024, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Andrey Sidelnikov guilty and sentenced him in absentia to 6 years in a general regime penal colony. Also, the court deprived Sidelnikov of the right to post information and administer websites and channels on the Internet for 4 years.
