Case Description
1. In February 2024, a criminal case was opened against 19-year-old local resident Andrey Shpringer in the city of Amursk, Khabarovsk Krai, for public calls for terrorism. According to the investigation, Shpringer, motivated by political hatred and enmity, during the period of the Russian Armed Forces' special military operation, expressing solidarity and supporting Ukrainian paramilitary formations, publicly posted an informational message justifying the activities of Ukrainian organizations recognized as terrorist in the Russian Federation and discrediting the activities of the Russian Armed Forces. The court placed the defendant under arrest. On September 13, 2024, the 1st Eastern Military District Court found Andrey Shpringer guilty and sentenced him to 3 years in a general regime colony. On December 26, 2024, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged.
