В Вологодской области не позднее июля 2026 года возбудили уголовное дело о реабилитации нацизма против автора проекта «Бессмертный барак» Андрея Шалаева. Подробности обвинения неизвестны.
В октябре 2023 года Шалаева задерживали на вокзале в Твери, куда он приехал с французскими журналистами показывать места массовых расстрелов. Он провел в отделении несколько суток без связи с адвокатом и близкими — его даже объявляли. После освобождения Шалаев рассказывал о продолжавшейся слежке, после чего уехал из России.
Мужчину объявили в розыск.
