Case Description
In the village of Mezhvodnoye in the Chernomorsky district of annexed Crimea, in early July 2023, the FSB announced the detention of a local 45-year-old resident, individual entrepreneur and private detective Andrey Naukhatsky. He was accused of treason. The details of the charges are unknown. 4 July 2023, Lefortovo District Court in Moscow chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention for a man who was escorted from Crimea to Moscow. On June 27, 2024, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea ruled to release Andrey Naukhatsky from punishment and apply compulsory medical measures against him." The court's decision was not appealed and entered into legal force.
