Later, Muchkin was charged with spreading military "fakes" motivated by political hatred and calls for terrorism. The reason for criminal prosecution under the article on justifying terrorism was a publication that the man made on May 31, 2023. The picture depicted Vladimir Putin with the text "The GUR of the Ukrainian Armed Forces called the assassination of Putin and Prigozhin their goal" with the comment "It's high time to kill these f****** on the h***." "Article about military fakes was charged to the man due to two videos in 'Odnoklassniki' that he published on July 12 and September 8, 2023. One of them stated that Russian military personnel were not provided with uniforms and weapons, the loss of half of the equipment since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the production of tanks and shells in Russia. Muchkin accompanied the publication with obscene swearing. In another one - about the participation of military personnel in battles near Bakhmut without leave and rotations, large losses of personnel, mindless sending of assault groups to assault, allegedly, without any help, a shortage of military recruitment under contract, as well as "conducting a criminal war against Ukraine and large losses among the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, conducting mobilization due to endless losses of personnel in the zone of the special military operation." Muchkin accompanied the video with the comment "Forward, sheep, after the bald rat." The Leninsky District Court of Ulyanovsk sent Muchkin to a pre-trial detention center.
