On October 9, 2025, a 41-year-old local resident, trader Andrey Loskutov, was detained in Moscow. At six in the morning, security forces came to him with a search in a rented apartment where Loskutov lived with his wife and four children. They broke the door for some reason, I have bruises on my arms, the child climbed into the closet and got scared, his mother Natalya Loskutova later told journalists. The man was accused of assisting terrorist activities. The reason for the criminal case could have been a transfer to Ukraine made in 2022: the trader made a payment for cryptocurrency in the amount of 500 rubles. Before the measure of restraint was chosen, Loskutov was placed in a temporary detention center. On October 10, 2025, the Ostankino District Court of Moscow placed the defendant in the case under arrest.
