Case Description
On March 13, 2024, local resident Andrey Kuzmichev was detained in St. Petersburg. A criminal case was opened against him for cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state to the detriment of the Russian Federation. Details of the charges are unknown.
On November 13, 2024, the St. Petersburg City Court found Andrei Kuzmichev guilty and sentenced him to 3 years in a general regime colony.
On February 24, 2025, the Second Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction left the sentence unchanged.
