Case Description
In Elektrogorsk, Moscow Oblast, no later than October 2024, 27-year-old local resident Andrey Kovalev was detained. He was accused of attempted state treason and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to the prosecution's version, the man, being a participant in the so-called "'special military operation', decided to switch to the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The details of the charges are unknown. For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
