Case Description
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, no later than April 2025, a criminal case was opened against a 35-year-old local resident, Andrey Dyukin. He was accused of financing extremist and terrorist activities. According to the investigation, since 2016, Dukhin has been watching video materials of Vyacheslav Maltsev, the leader of the Artpodgotovka movement, on the Internet. Displeased with the policies of the Russian authorities, since 2019 he has been financing the activities of 'Artpodgotovka', knowing that since 2017 it has been recognized as extremist and banned. After the community was recognized as a terrorist organization in 2021, Dyukin continued to finance it. Between September 1, 2021 and August 5, 2024, he made 13 money transfers. For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center. On August 25, 2025, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found Andrei Dukhin guilty and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. He must serve the first 3 years of his sentence in prison, and the remaining part in a strict regime correctional colony.
