Case Description
Andrey Denisov, a 54-year-old local resident of Nizhny Tagil in the Sverdlovsk region, was detained no later than August 2025. He was accused of financing terrorism. The reason for the criminal prosecution was two money transfers via Yandex.Money — 200 rubles in 2022 and 140 rubles in 2022. According to the investigation, money was transferred to the account of a certain organization recognized as terrorist. It is unknown which organization is being referred to. For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
