Case Description
In September 2022, a court fined former teacher Andrey Belozorov of the Belogorsk Technological College 100 thousand rubles under the article on discrediting the army. He played the Ukrainian song "Bayraktar" in the classrooms of the educational institution. Due to this, the court arrested him for 13 days, finding him guilty of displaying Nazi symbolism. In early October 2022, the former teacher published a post about the bombing of Ukrainian cities. This post and a fine of 100,000 rubles for the song "Bayraktar" served as grounds for initiating a criminal case under the article on discrediting the army. Earlier, the court arrested the former teacher for 14 days for posting the song "Chervona Kalina" on VKontakte. During the detention, security forces beat the man.
