Case Description
In March 2023, security forces detained Andrey Anfalov, a native of Ukhta, in Nizhny Novgorod. For investigative actions, he was escorted to Syktyvkar and placed in a pre-trial detention center. According to the investigation, Andrey posted texts calling for the arson of military enlistment offices, as well as threats to the life of 'one of the Russian state officials to stop his political activities' in the open access on his personal page on the social network 'Odnoklassniki'. On 13 September 2023, the 2nd Western Military District Court sentenced Andrey Anfalov to 5.5 years in a general regime colony and a 2-year ban on website administration. February 6, 2024, the Appellate Military Court upheld the sentence.
