Troshin Anatoliy Romanovich

On May 14, 2024, in Krasnoyarsk, a 31-year-old local resident, Anatoly Troshin, was detained under the article on drugs. A couple of months later, the FSB came to him with a search. According to Troshin's testimony, security forces studied his Telegram, which contained 'only opposition chats'. A criminal case was initiated against a resident of Krasnoyarsk for calls for terrorism. According to the investigation, Troshin, being opposed to the established constitutional system, political regime, and authorities in the Russian Federation, posted messages in Telegram containing "public justification of a terrorist act, as well as calls for violent actions aimed at overthrowing the current system of state authorities of the Russian Federation. It is unknown what exactly the man wrote. The court placed the defendant in custody for the duration of the investigation. On January 28, 2025, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found Anatoly Troshin guilty and sentenced him to 2 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony, with a 3-year ban on website administration. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
