Dzhobirov Amindzhon Dzhamshedzhonovich

In the Udmurt Republic, no later than June 2025, a criminal case was opened against 17-year-old Amindzhon Dzhobirov, who had previously been convicted. He was accused of repeatedly propagandizing or publicly demonstrating the symbols of extremist organizations. According to the investigation, from April 14, 2025 to June 5, 2025, Dzhobirov, while on the territory of the Izhevsk IK of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Udmurt Republic, engaged in propaganda and public demonstration of the symbols of the extremist organization "Convict Criminal Unity" (ACU), the activities of which are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation. On October 15, 2025, the Industrial District Court of Izhevsk found Amindzhon Dzhobirov guilty and sentenced him to 1 year of imprisonment. Taking into account the unserved part of the sentence under the previous verdict, the final term was 3 years 6 months of imprisonment with serving the sentence in a correctional colony. On December 25, 2025, the Supreme Court of the Udmurt Republic considered the prosecutor's appeal and changed the verdict. The court excluded from the qualification of the acts the indication of "propaganda and public demonstration of the paraphernalia of extremist organizations and other paraphernalia and symbolism, the propaganda and public demonstration of which is prohibited by federal laws, and also changed the order of crediting the time spent in custody. The court left the sentence unchanged in the rest of the case.
