Case Description
In occupied Kherson, local resident and Ukrainian citizen Alyona Dembitskaya was detained. She was accused of public calls for activities aimed against the security of the state. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a repost of a post about raising financial assistance to Ukraine on Facebook. The defendant in the case was placed in a pre-trial detention center for the duration of the investigation. Alena Dembitskaya was found guilty and sentenced to 3 years and 2 months of imprisonment to be served in a general regime colony.
