Case Description
December 12, 2024, Vladimir Dubovsky, former coordinator of Navalny's Headquarters and activist of 'Open Russia' in Vladivostok, was added to the list of the Rosfinmonitoring as being involved in terrorist crimes. It is unknown under which article a criminal case was initiated. He was put on the wanted list. In 2021, Dubovsky was summoned for questioning and told that he allegedly "sponsored" the protests in support of Navalny in January and February 2021. After that, in August 2021, the activist left Russia and became one of the founders of the association "Yednannya Ukraintsiv Istorychnykh Zemel" ("Association of Ukrainians of Historical Lands"). In the evening of November 26, 2025, Dubovsky was detained in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he had previously sought political asylum. Activist Alina Saveleva was detained along with him. Dubovskogo and Saveleva were put in a car and taken away in an unknown direction. According to reports, less than a month ago they tried to fly from Georgia to Serbia, but were removed from the flight for a 'formal reason'.
