Case Description
In Mednogorsk, Orenburg Region, in October 2025, a search was conducted at the home of a local resident, former activist of the Bashkir national movement Alfia Baisarova (Uzyanbaeva). According to reports, mobile phones, gadgets, some books, and documents were seized from the woman during the search. In January 2026, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened against Baysarova for inciting hatred or enmity. The details of the charges are unknown. The woman was placed under a written undertaking not to leave during the investigation.
