In September 2023, a criminal case was initiated in Yekaterinburg against 49-year-old turner Aleksey Sergeev on charges of justifying terrorism. The investigation claims that Sergeev wanted to write "grokhnite" but made a typo. For the duration of the investigation, the Yekaterinburg resident was taken into custody with a written undertaking not to leave. On March 10, 2025, the Central Military District Court found Aleksey Sergeev guilty and sentenced him to 5 years and 3 months in a general regime colony.
