Case Description
Alexey Romanyuk, a 28-year-old native of Kaliningrad, was charged in annexed Sevastopol no later than August 2023 with treason, smuggling, illegal circulation of explosives and explosive devices by an organized group, participation in a terrorist community, and attempted terrorist attack by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. The details of the charges are unknown. The court placed Alexey Romanyuk in a pre-trial detention center. June 26, 2025, the Southern Military District Court found Alexei Romanyuk guilty, the size of the punishment is unknown. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
