Case Description
On May 7, 2024, in Sergiyev Posad, Moscow Oblast, a search warrant was brought to the registered address of 33-year-old activist Alexey Nikitin. A criminal case was opened against him on charges of 'fakes' about the Russian army motivated by political hatred. The reason for initiating the case was a certain comment published on VKontakte on November 5, 2022. Nikitin himself is not in Russia.
