Kirilenko Aleksey Vasilevich

On February 29, 2024, Alexei Kirillenko, a 48-year-old local resident, was detained in Kaliningrad. He was accused of planning to participate in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to the investigation, Kirillenko, in correspondence with a resident of Odessa named Anna Usovich, expressed a desire to participate in hostilities on the side of Ukraine. The defense is convinced that Usovich has never lived and does not live in Odessa, and correspondence with her could be a provocation by the FSB. Before the measure of restraint was chosen, the man was placed in a temporary detention facility. On March 1, 2024, the Central District Court of Kaliningrad, at the request of the investigation, chose a measure of restraint for the defendant in the form of detention. Later, the charges against Kirillenko were toughened — he was accused of treason.
