Case Description
Alexey Karpenko, a 44-year-old Ukrainian citizen with forced Russian citizenship, was detained in occupied Donetsk on October 28, 2024. He was accused of treason, public calls for extremist activity, desertion with weapons, illegal handling of explosives, public justification of terrorism (two episodes), participation in a terrorist community, preparation for a terrorist act committed by a group of persons, and undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activity."
