Case Description
On March 22, 2024, in the village of Lyubimovka in the occupied Kherson region, Russian security forces broke into the homes of many residents of the village." They were supposedly looking for Ukrainian saboteurs - just on that day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to destroy a train with Russian military ammunition located in the building of a former local kindergarten that had been seized. Law enforcement officers kidnapped 43-year-old local resident Alexey Grinko from his home. Around 3-4 o'clock, a bag was put over his head and he was taken away in an unknown direction. Earlier, in 2023, Russian military personnel had already conducted an illegal search of Alexei's home. It is known that he tried to leave the occupation, but he was not allowed to pass and was severely beaten at one of the checkpoints. He was forced to return to Lyubimovka. His current whereabouts are unknown.
