Case Description
Detained in the occupied part of Donetsk region no later than February 2025 was 24-year-old local resident, Ukrainian citizen with forced Russian citizenship Alexey Cherkasov. He was accused of treason, aiding terrorist activities, participating in the activities of a terrorist community, justifying terrorism, undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities, as well as rehabilitating Nazism. Moreover, he is charged with committing and preparing to commit terrorist acts as part of a group of persons by prior conspiracy. The details of the charges are unknown. The young man was placed in custody.
