On January 20, 2021, a criminal case was opened in Ufa against lawyer Alexander Voytekh on charges of attempted fraud in the field of lending on a particularly large scale. On September 28, 2022, the Kirovsky District Court of Ufa found Alexander Voytsekh guilty and sentenced him to four years in prison to be served in a general regime colony. The lawyer was taken into custody in the courtroom. On December 7, the Supreme Court of Bashkortostan upheld the sentence. 6 April 2023, it was possible to overturn the sentence in the 6th Appellate Court, but Wojciech was kept in custody. On October 5, 2023, upon reconsideration of the case, the Kirovsky District Court of Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, again found Alexander Voytekh guilty and sentenced him to 2 years and 3 months of imprisonment with a suspended sentence. The lawyer was released from custody in the courtroom. January 24, 2024, the Supreme Court of Bashkortostan upheld the sentence.
