Case Description
In the city of Bratsk, Irkutsk Oblast, no later than July 2024, a criminal case was opened for calls to extremism and terrorism against 31-year-old local resident Alexander Voronin. According to the investigation, the man, being an opponent of the special military operation conducted by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, published comments in open internet communities justifying terrorist acts, as well as, motivated by hatred and enmity towards a group of persons united on the basis of nationality, comments containing calls for extremist activity. It is unknown what exactly the Bratsk resident wrote. Later, the charges were toughened - articles on the illegal manufacture and sale of narcotic drugs were added." 5.
