В Котельниче Кировской области 16 июня 2026 года возбудили уголовное дело против 48-летнего местного жителя Александра Смертина. Его обвинили в реабилитации нацизма и осквернении символов воинской славы России.
По версии следствия, утром 16 июня 2026 года Смертин, находясь на территории мемориального комплекса «Обелиск воинам-рабочим ДОКа, погибшим в годы Великой Отечественной войны» в Котельниче, попытался прикурить сигарету в чаше Вечного огня.
