Case Description
3 February 2024 in the city of Nova Kakhovka in the occupied part of the Kherson region, 34-year-old local resident Aleksandr Skrabunov was abducted. It later emerged that a criminal case had been opened against the man for treason, illegal manufacture and trafficking of explosives and explosive devices by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, attempted terrorism and terrorism resulting in death. The details of the charges are unknown. The court placed the defendant in a pre-trial detention center.
