Case Description
According to the investigation, on August 24, 2022, unknown persons poured red paint into the fountain at Victory Square as a symbol of blood. After the protest, security forces detained Alexander Nizamov. Alexander Nizamov was initially charged under the article on vandalism committed by a group of people, but two of his girlfriends were able to leave the country without hindrance, and he himself left for France from under a written undertaking not to leave. The Ministry of Internal Affairs put Alexander on federal wanted list.
