Case Description
At the end of March 2022, a married couple from Konakovo, Tver Region, Lyudmila Razumova and Alexander Martynov, were detained on charges of spreading "fakes" about the Russian army motivated by political hatred and vandalism committed by a group of people motivated by political and ideological hatred. Both were sent to the SIZO. According to the investigation, in March 2022, the spouses posted a repost on their Odnoklassniki page about the killed residents of Mariupol, where Russian soldiers were called "scum, a video publication with a caption that Russian soldiers shelled residential buildings in Kherson, and a video clip where Sergey Surovikin is called a war criminal. According to the investigation, the spouses also left inscriptions "Putler kaput", Ukraine, forgive us", Peace to Ukraine" and "Putin is war", as well as stencil pictures "in the form of a merger of V. V. Putin and A. Hitler" in the villages of Mokshino, Varaksino, Teshilovo and the settlements of Mirny and Novozavidovsky. On March 17, 2023, Judge Svetlana Kosachyova of the Konakovo City Court of the Tver Region found the spouses guilty and sentenced Lyudmila Razumova to seven years in a general regime colony, and Alexander Martynov to six and a half years. The court also imposed a ban on holding state positions for four years after their release. on May 24, 2023, the Tver Regional Court upheld this sentence.
