Case Description
According to the investigation, Alexander Kolomiec published a series of comments on VKontakte from his phone in September 2022 under a post about the course of partial mobilization in the "Liberty News" group. He, in particular, was charged with a comment calling to "take knives and Molotov cocktails. Colomiyets was detained in Murmansk on January 1, 2023. According to him, the security forces hit him several times, after which he limped for a week. Later that day, a search was conducted at his place, and in the evening he was flown to Moscow, as he had come to Murmansk on business. From the moment of his detention until the verdict was announced, the man was held in the Moscow SIZOs "Kapotnya" and "Matrosskaya Tishina. On April 25, 2023, the man was sentenced to a fine of 300 thousand rubles. The appellate military court upheld the sentence.
