Case Description
On the night of May 25, unknown individuals set fire to several relay and battery cabinets in the Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg. Three days later, security forces detained two residents of the Leningrad Oblast - Alexander Grishko and Miroslav Pobedynsky - on suspicion of committing a crime. According to the FSB, during interrogation, the men confessed that they were promised 20,000 rubles for the arson. Initially, a criminal case was opened under the article on destruction of another's property, but later the article was toughened to sabotage.
