Case Description
In Orenburg, no later than April 2025, a criminal case was initiated against 48-year-old local resident Alexander Fokhin. He was accused of financing extremist activities. According to the investigation, Fokina watched a video on the YouTube channel "Alexey Navalny" from September 2021 to February 2022, which contained a call for financial support, and through the link under the video made six donations of 300 rubles each, totaling 1800 rubles, knowing that the Non-Profit Organization "Anti-Corruption Foundation" was recognized as extremist and liquidated. At the time of the investigation, the defendants in the case were placed under a written undertaking not to leave and to behave properly. On July 22, 2025, the Orenburg District Court of the Orenburg Region found Alexander Fokina guilty and fined him 200 thousand. rubles with a payment deferral for 10 months.
